USP-1 and USP-1-amber glass is a neutral borosilicate glass with high boron content. The glass is intended for the manufacture of glass tubes and must meet the requirements of TU U 00480945-002-96 "Medical glass of the USP-1 brand".
The hydrolytic resistance of USP-1 and USP-1-amber glass corresponds to the HGA 1 ISO 720 /HGB 1 ISO 719 class, which allows the use of USP-1 and USP-1-amber glass for the manufacture of medical containers that ensure long-term and reliable storage of medicinal products.
